the seattle skyline from I-5.
the space needle!
and views from the space needle!
after the space needle, we went to pike place market. (i want to live here.)
we wandered around and looked at pretty things, then had lunch. we had a starter of fresh calamari in a tomato cream sauce, then clam chowder, then i had crab cakes. best seafood ever. oh my goodness. plus, the view out the window while we ate was absolutely gorgeous.
on sunday, my brother and i went to visit my grandfather's grave.
i'll post more cemetery pictures in another post, so as not to spam too much. on the way home, i caught a glimpse of mount saint helen, as well as what i believe to be mt. hood. they were quite majestic, peeking above the clouds like they were. the top of mount saint helen is that little dip in the middle of the below photo.
ah, i want to go back soon. now would be nice, i think. sigh!
